Established in 1855, Clintonville is a small town in rural Wisconsin with a long industrial history.   It is the birthplace of four-wheel drive technology and Wisconsin Central Airlines. We also have a very large manufacturing presence, including Seagrave Fire Apparatus, the longest running fire apparatus manufacturer in the United States. We have numerous parks and lots of recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, and sports. Welcome to our wonderful City!

Mayor's Message

Hi, folks! Welcome to the friendly City of Clintonville. A small community with big features!

Our Main Street hosts several events like the Spring Cruise Car Show, Sidewalk Sales, and Fall Frenzy. At the heart of Main Street, you’ll find our amazing Veteran’s Memorial. Every Thursday (May-October) we have a Farmer’s Market with fresh produce, homemade pies, and handcrafted items. And our Fourth of July fireworks is a “Must See” event that draws thousands of spectators.

Our community is full of beautiful parks with wonderful youth programs, disc golf, tennis courts, ball diamonds, and soccer fields. The Clintonville High School Rec Center has a great fitness gym, hot tub, and two indoor pools.

History buffs will love our FWD Seagrave Museum. Clintonville is home to the founders of the first four-wheel drive automobile! The museum displays over 80 old and rare trucks and firetrucks, as well as historical memorabilia.

Our booming industrial park is full of manufacturers who ship products like tractors, military vehicles, firetrucks, and paper products all over the world, and offer countless employment opportunities.

Clintonville is continuously growing with a unique variety of businesses, and new and exciting activities, events, and opportunities. I encourage you to stop by and visit us. We’d love to put a smile on your face!
