Park & Recreation Committee
The Parks & Recreation Committee consists of four members including two alderpersons and two citizens. All members are appointed to a one-year term by the Mayor, subject to confirmation by the Common Council.
The Committee has the general supervision of recreation in the City and operates and maintains all parks, community recreation centers, playgrounds and other areas which are assigned to it by the Council. It makes rules and regulations for the government and control of all such places of recreation, subject to approval by the Council.

The Parks & Recreation Committee meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month at 3:30 P.M. at City Hall. Meeting date, time and location are subject to change.
