INTRODUCTION We are extremely pleased to offer you this listing of programs, activities and facilities available through the efforts of the City and department staff, as well as some programs and activities offered by various community organizations. We sincerely hope that you find something of interest, whether that interest be active or passive. Besides these programs, activities and facilities, a great variety of other recreational and social opportunities exist in the Clintonville area. They further agree to indemnify and save harmless the City of Clintonville and any of its employees from and against all claims, suits, damages, costs, losses and expenses, in any manner resulting from or arising out of injuries or losses sustained while participating in City of Clintonville Park and Recreation Department programs. It is the policy of the City of Clintonville to encourage the participation of all its citizens in any Park and Recreation Department program. Persons with thoughts and suggestions to enhance access and participation in Park and Recreation Department programs and activities are encouraged to share them with the City Administrator, City Clerk, or the Park and Recreation Director. The department fully supports recycling in its system and asks the cooperation of all facility users. Persons using the parks are asked not to deposit recyclable items in the park refuse barrels and dumpsters. Many of the department’s facilities have special aluminum can, glass and plastic recycling containers. Sales tax (5.5%) is included in all fees listed on the website, where applicable. Certain programs/activities are not taxable as are certain facility/program uses. Tax exempt organizations must provide the department with a completed tax exempt certificate. There is a fee required to participate in many of the department’s programs. For most of these programs the fee is: City Residents:
