New Pumping Chamber

In June of 2002 the Waste Water Utility added a pumping chamber onto its biosolids storage tank. The storage tank is located just west of the Clintonville Airport on Beacon Ave. The chamber was added so that the tank could be completely emptied every spring. The original tank was flat on the bottom making it almost impossible to completely empty it. If the tank is not emptied solids can build up on the bottom. That buildup would give us less capacity in our tank. As part of the storage tank upgrade we also added 3 mixers so that the tank is fully mixed before we empty it.

The project was completed in July of 2002
