Clintonville is a small town in rural Wisconsin, established in 1855. We are the birthplace of four-wheel drive technology and Wisconsin Central Airlines. We also have a very large manufacturing presence, including Seagrave Fire Apparatus, the longest running fire apparatus manufacturer in the United States. We have numerous parks and lots of recreational opportunities such as boating, fishing, golfing, hiking, and sports. Welcome to our wonderful City!

Mayor's Message

Hi, there!  Welcome to Clintonville, home to lots of good things.  We are a fairly small town, but we like to think we are a great little place which we enjoy and I think you will too.  We are home to welcoming churches, a strong school system, lots of beautiful parks, a nice little river, and a large pond behind the dam with lots of fish.  One of our best features is a well-groomed 18 hole golf course, which brings many people to town.  An important advantage to living here is that real estate prices are significantly lower than those in surrounding larger cities.  If you are not interested in home ownership, we have just completed a beautiful new apartment complex, which you would want to see.  A nice geographic feature of our hometown is that we are located in the center of a large wheel, with hospitals, shopping, fun and adventure in every direction, and not far away.  As you might expect, our crime rate is low, and you and your home are quite safe.

For a small town, we have lots of civic organizations such as Lions, Moose, Boy and Girl Scouts, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, church organizations, Historical Society, and more.  You should be able to find one of these in which you can serve the community.  Our surprisingly large and active industrial park includes many wonderful manufacturers, with a large employment level, and products being shipped all over the world.  However, we do have more space in the industrial park, and we would love to discuss locating your firm here.

When you come up this way, I hope you will stop and visit us.  We would love to see you.
