Quality health care is provided by two medical clinics. In addition to caring, quality family healthcare, Affinity Medical Group and Theda Care Physicians offer a variety of x-ray, laboratory, and specialty services. The Clintonville Area Ambulance Service provides emergency service on a 24-hour basis. Four ambulance units manned by 1 paramedic, 44 EMTs, and 5 drivers are located at two stations and operate at the Advanced Life Support level. They were chosen EMS Service of the Year for 1999. Two hospitals are located within 15 minutes of Clintonville. Two nursing homes for residents needing extended care and several assisted living facilities are available in the community. Dentists, optometrists, chiropractors, and rehabilitation therapy centers meet the needs for total healthcare. The community is also served by two veterinary clinics for pet and animal care.
