The City would like to thank Cellcom, Inc. for its recent decision to expand to the Clintonville Industrial Park. The company will construct a tower that is approximately 160 feet tall. The company will then place cellular telephone antennas on the tower to provide better service to its customers in the area. The site for the new tower is located at the Northeast Corner of State Highway 156 and Enterprise Avenue. Currently Cellcom has antennas located on the City’s blue water tower located on County Trunk Highway I. Cellcom currently has an agent located in the City at Trophies and Treasures. Ribbon Cutting

On August 10, 2005 a ribbon cutting was attended by over 30 people to celebrate the construction of a new 155 foot tower in the Clintonville Industrial Park. The new tower should be operational by mid September. Mayor Beggs, Cellcom Executive Vice President Rob Riordan and Cellcom Agent in Clintonville Kathy Schmoll spoke to the crowd about the importance of good telecommunications in small communities. Mayor Beggs emphasized how pleased Clintonville is to have a commitment from Cellcom to invest in this community.
