Lion's Shelter

W. A. Olen Park (34.5 acres) is located one block east of Main Street in the downtown area.  The park offers playground equipment, horseshoe pits (bring your own stakes), lighted tennis courts, grass volleyball courts & posts (use your own net), youth baseball/softball field, two open and one enclosed shelter, baseball/football field complex, ice skating rink and warming house, bathrooms and a Frisbee disc golf course.  Some of the unique features of the park are the Pigeon River meandering through the park with an old swinging bridge connecting two parts of the park.  It is a beautiful place to take a stroll all year-round.  Park hours are 6:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m.

  • Tennis Courts - Lights available (coin operated meter)

  • Two Open Shelters - Can be reserved at City Hall
  • Enclosed Shelter - Can be reserved at City Hall
