The Park & Recreation Department operates a
municipal outdoor swimming pool at Bucholtz Park.
The pool has three diving boards and a separate wading pool, and locker rooms
equipped with showers. The pool is
staffed by a full time pool manager, assistant pool manager and approximately
nine full-time and part-time
employees. The pool is open June through
August.

Please note that only youth 7 years of age and under are eligible to use the
wading pool. All youth using the wading pool must be accompanied by a
responsible chaperon.

Minimum age for Level 1 is generally
expected to be 5 years of age. Younger children may sign up with
instructor approval.
Note for Parent/Child Aquatics:
A parent or other responsible person (minimum age of 15) must
attend and be in the water with the student.
The Clintonville Municipal Pool
offers the Red Cross swim lesson program. All lesson instructors are Red
Cross certified. |

The Clintonville Municipal
Outdoor Pool and Wading Pools are available for private rental, such as a birthday
party, scout meeting, business picnic, etc. It is available at times other than the regular
open swim times. This fee includes the services of two qualified
lifeguards and is good for up to 50 swimmers. For over 50 people a third lifeguard
is required at a fee of $10.00 per hour. The wading pool costs $35.00* per hour,
which includes the services of one lifeguard.
