Recognition of Darrell Teall and Gary Sipiorski

Both gentlemen are long time employees of the City
Darrell has worked here for 24 years and Gary for 11.
These men are responsible for operating the Wastewater Laboratory for the City.
Not only do they test our samples they also do a great deal of paperwork to show that the testing is done right.

This past year the Department of Natural Resources did an audit of our Wastewater Laboratory. The audit found our lab performance was excellent. In fact the auditor nominated our lab for lab of the year. Unfortunately the auditor at the time didn’t realize we were a certified lab rather than a registered lab. The DNR does not give out an annual award for certified labs.

We have decided to recognize these two for their outstanding work even though they didn’t get lab of the year.
